How has the company changed?

We have gone from a small team of 4 led by my Dad back in 1994 when we only supplied and installed phone systems, to a larger team of 10 with Mark and I at the helm. We now supply the whole suite of telephony products to businesses including telephone lines, broadband, Panasonic phone systems, Software, Support & Maintenance contracts as well as mobiles but we still have a number of customers who have been with LTS longer than I have, although they have upgraded at least once!

What do you enjoy the most about working at LTS?

We have got a great team working with us. I like to support and develop all of our staff in their work roles, celebrate with them positive milestones both professionally and personally and also to be able to show compassion and understanding when they experience difficult times.

What work achievement are you most proud of?

A large part of our business is the provision of telephone lines, broadband and call charges as a direct competitor to BT. In order to do this we have had to implement a sophisticated billing platform that works in conjunction with our suppliers and direct debit processes. It brings together all the different billing information from several different suppliers allowing us to accurately bill all services on one bill . To have this working smoothly is one of the most challenging but satisfying things I have been able to do.

Whats in store for the future?

I would like to continue to review and develop all of the administration and finance functions within LTS to ensure that we maintain our efficient and productive operation.

Finally what do you like doing out of work?

I have recently taken up road cycling and love getting out in to the countryside on my bike !
