When did you start working for LTS?

18 years ago in January 2000, I started as a temp but soon became a permanent member of the team, which was much smaller back then.

What role did you start doing?

Part Time Administration Assistant.

What role do you do now?

Accounts Administrator.

How has the company changed since you started?

When I first started the company was known as Kestrel Telecom. Since then, we have become LTS, had 2 office moves and increased the services that we offer to include line and broadband / FTTC rental, SIP and our own Hosted Phone System as well as continuing to offer phone system support. As technology evolves we are now more likely to be able to resolve phone system issues remotely rather than sending an engineer to site, which of course means that our customers are up and working again much sooner.

What do you enjoy the most about working at LTS?

I can honestly say that coming to work is enjoyable as no two days are the same. I work with a great team, including admin, sales and engineers and we also have a lot of long standing customers so it is always nice to chat to them and assist with any issues that they are experiencing. It is also fun getting to grips with new products and services.

What work achievement are you most proud of?

We implemented a new billing system around 15 months ago that enables us to provide customers with a single bill for all their telephony services with LTS and although it has been quite challenging getting it up and running the bill run, along with the accompanying DD import now run smoothly.

What’s in store for the future?

With the way technology moves on there is always something new to learn about and products and services for us to trial before offering them to our customers.

Finally what do you like doing out of work?

I love to travel and since my daughter has been working in Quebec, Canada this has become a favourite destination. I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, as well as reading and line dancing.
