Local Telecom Service Limited (LTS) was formed in 1985 when our founder Peter Hawkins started the business. Back then we were called Kestrel Telecom and changed over to the LTS brand when the whole company became Limited in 2000. We have always been based in York and continue to support local businesses as well as those further afield.

Over the years we have worked on many different systems from lots of different manufacturers but for over the last 20 years we have found Panasonic systems to be the most reliable, flexible and above all offer excellent value for money.

Of course its not only systems we can supply and support. LTS can provide Lines and Calls much more competitively than BT and our customers tell us we provide a much better service than BT too.

We also have highly experienced engineers to install Cat5 and Cat6 data cabling as well as Fibre Optics. Being based in the historic city of York they have installed cabling in every possible type of building from modern office blocks right through the ages to 250 year old 4 story Georgian Houses (now offices) in the centre of York and from 2 or 3 cat5 points to installations of over 300, so there is nothing they haven't already dealt with before.

As a family business we have always prided ourselves on the high level of service and honesty we give to our customers.
